Incorporation, New Tenant
he Patton Block Center has now incorporated. The center will still retain the same name (Patton Block Center), but the building is now owned by Patton Block, Inc., an Illinois corporation. The new corporate entity will allow the PBC to truly become "community owned," as well as allowing much more flexibility in the management of renovation and technology investment dollars.
The Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce is relocating to the Patton Block Center. They have signed a five year lease for space on the east side of the ground floor of the PBC. Renovation (including the restoration of the original tin ceiling that was hidden for decades) will begin on their space within the next few weeks.
